E. coli O157:H7 is the culprit in numerous and sometimes fatal foodborne illness outbreaks. My task was to create an illustration of it for use in the 2012 UNL Annual Research Report.
Created using 3D Studio Max and Photoshop, I worked closely with the researcher to make sure everything was right. Make sure you check out the article from the report to learn about this awesome research and also see a larger version of the illustration.

I've always sort of been a nerd, but my degree in computer science probably didn't help that. But I have always had a love of art, so combine the computer base with my minor in studio art and viola, you get me.
