Officers and committee Chairs Needed.

It takes all the members of LAG to make our organization successful and enjoyable for all members. Do you know a member who would be a good fit for a position in the guild? Nominate them or consider being part of the team yourself. You can nominate or run for any position. Many of the offices have been filled, but that does not mean that you cannot run or nominate someone for the position that you would like to do.

Turkeys gone Now Guess What ?

Hope everyone is well and has a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Now guess what???
Christmas is in the air and we want to keep the momentum going at the gallery. Let’s get the word out that we have a wide range of original artwork  that would be the prefect one of a kind gift to nestle under your tree. Don’t forget to keep the gallery stocked with Christmas and special gifts priced from $15.00 to $30.00. Remind everyone about our upcoming First Friday and please, please help out and attend if you can. Customers love to visit with the artists. A lot of times visiting with the artist will boost sales (Just Saying). Let’s have a wonderful Holiday and make this gallery all that it can be, which is Totally Fantastic !!!

Art Teacher Needed

The CLASS co-op, a homeschool co-op that meets at the Country Bible Church outside of Bennet once a week on Tuesdays, is looking for someone to be their art teacher. You set the pricing and materials requirements. Families pay you individually, either per session or per semester. Contagious Evening of Fun

First Friday November 7th. It was a beautiful crisp fall evening lit by a gorgeous full moon. The atmosphere inside  Out of the Box Gallery was very warm and very welcoming. Just plain delightful as many guests arrived and enjoyed good music, artists, appetizers, and wine. Seems as time goes by more and more people are hearing about our gallery. We really had a very, very good turnout. At times the gallery was overflowing with many guests. It was easy to see our guests loved the wide variety of artwork we offer and they especially enjoyed having the chance to meet and visit with the artists. We all enjoyed the fantastic Jazz music provided by the group Jive Merchant. I even saw a few guests pull up a chair and sit down for a few minutes and did some toe tapping. I think all of us had an extra bounce to our step that night because of the great music. You know it just does your heart to see so many people having such a good time enjoying great artwork and each others company. The Lincoln Artists’ Guild was given such a lovely compliment that night thanks to all the guests  that came to help support our gallery and our local artists. Not much else to say except … It really was a great First Friday … No Kidding. Jane Chesnut
