The Lincoln Artists’ Guild is looking for a treasurer.  Please let Kirk Kuenzi know if you would be willing to take over this position.  Kirk –  kuenzitoons@gmail.com or if you want to visit with him – 402 613 5323

Due to the Global Pandemic, dues for next year have been waived, so if you were a member this year you automatically are a member next year.  New members will be exempt from this waiver.

Fall Show

As of now, we are planning on having our Fall Show at the LUX in October.  Letting you know so you can think about entries.  I would like to allow three pieces this year as we haven’t gotten to have a show for awhile.  Please make sure they haven’t shown in any of our prior shows, (Seward pieces are O.K.). Price of entries will be $10 each or three for $25.  We may try something new this year (with judge’s approval) with having a “FB Live” with the judges critiques.  We will not be having our own reception on the First Friday, but will donate snacks to the LUX for their reception.  All of this is of course depending on the Covid crisis.  We will still have our work on display for the month.  If you have your pieces ready, and have forms (see at the bottom of your newsletter) filled out, you may bring them to the September meeting, or mail them to Carmen Stineman, 3300 SW 80th Circle, Lincoln, NE  68456

Review of rules:

  • wire hangers, no metal hooks
  • name, title, price on back
  • Original, no copies from other works
  • Not to have been done in a class
  • Done within the last two years
