July Meeting

July 12, 7:00 p.m.   2634 North 48th ST.  Monthly meeting

We will be creating cardboard art! It’s fun, like putting a puzzle together. Challenging to think in 3 dimensions! Easy way to try sculpture. Super inexpensive!
I’ve found it exciting and totally absorbing, hopefully you all will enjoy it too! Only downside are burned fingers on occasion and lots of cardboard art in your house!
I will bring a paper cutter that I use to cut strips, and some extra cardboard too. We can share glue guns and Xacto knives too if needed. Come and enjoy the freedom of creating and no guilt if you throw it away!

2-3 cardboard boxes, also an extra flat one to use as a mat to protect your table. If you have a green cutting mat bring it.
Xacto knife needs to be heavy duty
Glue gun and lots of glue sticks
Big pair of scissors
Optional –  heavy duty stapler, I have a Bostich I ordered from Amazon
Look up these cardboard artists Dylan Shields, Anne Weber, James Lake, Mark Langan for inspiration!
