Jan Pippitt will be doing a Portrait Demonstration for our May LAG program, Tuesday, May 3rd, 7-9PM.  Members may bring pencil/graphite and paper if they want to follow along on sketches for the eyes, nose, and mouth.  The rest of the demonstration will be of Jan drawing from a live model.

Jan Pippitt is a LAG member and a retired Art Instructor at Centura Public School.

Fourth Friday, March 25th at Out of the box was a fun and busy evening with wonderful music provided by Bill Carpenter & his keyboard. There was a lovely springtime table setting complete with fresh flowers, mirrors, and a delicate tablecloth all surrounded by yummy appetizers. Everyone enjoyed strolling through the gallery, listening to great music, and seeing exciting art. Many came to see the pre-qualifying ANAC Show artwork, and the artwork that was chosen to move on to state competition in June. It was a beautiful evening enjoyed by many patrons and Artist Guild members. We want to thank everyone who helped make this evening a success. Can’t wait till next Fourth Friday, “April 22.” See you there!!!

APRIL 25th CHANGE OF ART !!!!
REMINDER – Change Date for new artwork at Out of the Box will be Monday APRIL 25, between 10a.m.and 1PM. If you cannot be there in that time period, you may bring your paintings on Saturday April 23 or Sunday April 24th with the required paperwork and labels, including info on the back of each painting, and labels for display with title, price, etc. NO more than 4 paintings total, please. You may bring in all new art, or leave the 4 you have there, or exchange a few; whatever works best for you. We are looking forward to seeing some new art. The Gallery Committee will have all new artwork hung & on exhibit hopefully by 5:00pm.
