Seward 4th of July Show

Pickup of entries will be Tuesday June 1 at 10:15 a.m. and leaving at 10:30 a.m. at the north Sams parking lot (northwest corner by gas pumps).  If anyone wants to ride along and help hang you are most welcome.  Make sure you have your  name, address and telephone number and price of  your piece (if it is for sale) (does not need to be for sale, just put NFS) on the back side of your work.  I will be making tags to place on the front.  Work may not show sale price on front, but a buyer may contact you independently.  Works will be up the entire summer and visitors will vote on their favorite, with a Peoples Choice Award given and the opportunity to have a one-person show at the gallery.  Bring your one or two entries on Tuesday, we will hang at 11 at the community center in Seward,  have a quick lunch and tour the Red Path Gallery before retuning to Lincoln around 3.  My number is 402 641 6233.  Carmen Stineman

Concerns

LAG is a non-profit organization over 100 years old, and with that distinction comes participation from many not a few.  If you have a concern, question and/or suggestions, please let Kirk know.  (kuenzitoons@gmail.com).  We can only keep our organization viable with everyone doing their part.  With mask restrictions being lifted, and groups are now again getting together, the summer looks more promising than ever.  We also had some great responses from the survey that was sent out.  Thank you to all who participated.

May Program

The Lois Smith program in May was wonderful, with many of the members showing an interest in having an all day workshop.  Watch for further information.  We did have so many that we had difficulty seating everyone around a table.  If anyone has a folding table, that they would like to loan or donate to the guild, we can store it in the basement until needed.  Let us know.
