Next Change of Date for New Artwork at Out of the Box will be Monday, JANUARY 9^th, 2017, between 10a.m.to 12:00. If you cannot be there during that time period, you may bring your paintings on Saturday, Jan. 7th, between 10am – 5pm or Sunday, the 8th, 11am – 4pm. Please have ALL paper work DONE BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR ARTWORK. & you must use the NEW Display Cards Only! All artwork will need all the required paperwork filled out, inventory sheet, and new display labels. ALSO have the title, price, your name & phone secured on the back of each painting.  NO more than 5 paintings total. You may bring in all new art or leave the 5 you have there, or exchange a few; whatever works best for you. We are looking forward to seeing some new art.

The LAG is still looking for someone to be chairman of the Art Show committee.  We have people to help hang, but we need a leader for the  ANAC pre qualifying show; the spring show; fall show; 3D show and the Seward Show.  Let Carmen Stineman or Donna Pozehl know if you are willing to volunteer.  We also would like someone to volunteer to be on a “courtesy committee” that would be responsible for sending out get-well cards and thank you notes to members and judges.   Also need a Proof Reader for our newsletters – have to check for spelling errors you know.  Can you help?  Let us know.

Chinese New Year Christmas Party….Don’t forget.  Prizes, awards, great food.  What more can you ask for!  Jan 21^st at 6:00 p.m. at the Imperial Palace on 27^th and Vine street.  $12 per person.  Email Carmen at cmstine@hotmail.com to let us know you will be coming.  Don’t forget to bring your self portrait (be creative, bizarre, etc) if you so choose.
Also, we will be accepting the 2017 year’s membership dues that night: $35 for dues; plus an additional $25 gallery fee if you wish to show all year at “Out of the Box”.  Remember, February is the deadline if you want to be included in the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs so get your membership in early.  You can send your membership to Wanda Medina if you cannot attend the New Years Party.  Her address is Wanda Medina, 7563 Diamond Court, Lincoln NE  68506.
