Upcoming November 5: Reida Wrenholt is a studio artist working with sculpture and painting. She will share her work and process of “playing with ideas”. A member activity will be part of the program. Please bring a filled sketchbook to the meeting.  We will use ideas from your work for an activity.  Reida is a Lincoln Artist Guild Member.

Questions or Comment: Hi,

I’m reaching out because we are looking for photography, visual art, poetry or spoken word submissions on the topic of technology and society for a First Friday event at the New Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts as a part of our Ethics and Broader Considerations of Technology Conference (ebct2019.com).

The deadline for submissions is Oct 25, but if you artists contact us before the deadline to request more time, we can work with them. The event will be held on November 1st.

Our anxieties with tech are rising and we want to give artists the opportunity to showcase this to raise awareness about technology as a social issue.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in submitting a piece for this art showcase, would you please pass this information along to them?
