Lynette Fast has given us some great programs this year and she has volunteered to continue for next year, but she needs input from you the members to what you would like to have. Bring your ideas to the meeting on October 1st so she has a blueprint for the future.
Inquire and explore composition and use of space for your current or upcoming artwork. This activity will include 9″x12″ white paper, 9″x12″ black paper, scissors, and glue stick. Members should prepare a pencil line sketch of your current or next planned artwork on the 9″x12″ white paper and bring the sketch to the meeting with the rest of the supplies. The leaders will facilitate several activities using shared ideas and brainstorm compositional choices.
Upcoming November 5: Reida Wrenholt is a studio artist working with sculpture and painting. She will share her work and process of “playing with ideas”. A member activity will be part of the program. Reida is a Lincoln Artist Guild Member.
If you’re interested in having a piece of your artwork featured on the LAG member webpage, please send an image file to ddewees8191@gmail.com. The artwork can be of your choosing, and I recommend something that represents your larger body of work. Please only send one image file to start out. There maybe opportunities to submit additional artwork at a later time.
