A WORD FROM YOUR PRESIDENT

Wow what an experience it has been to be your President for 2013 & 2014. I have learned so much and done more than I had ever expected.   2014 has been a good year for LAG. We have added 28 new members, and thanks to Out of the Box our art work has been on display every day for over a year. We have sold 56 pieces of art work as of December 18th. We now have one of the largest galleries in Lincoln. We should all be very proud.

The Program Committee has done a fantastic job at scheduling programs that are very interesting and educational.

It does take a lot of time, hard work and persistence to keep a large club running. Thanks to all who have volunteered to help during my two year term.

The new Board will be wonderful and LAG will continue to grow. Just remember that new ideas are always welcome and if you would like to be on any of the committees, just visit with your new President and she will help you get started. Don’t forget to attend the New Year Party. It will be great fun. Call Rita Holland and let her know you are going to attend.

Thanks again to everyone.
Donna Pozehl

It is time to be Creative!

It is time to be creative. Jody from Out of the Box has asked us to create a sign for LAG to be painted on the wall above the staircase. We would like all members to create something artsy and fun, not just boring letters.

Make your creation approximately 8 ½ x 11, colored media and turn it into Out of the Box by the 21 of January. The Out of the Box Committee, Jody, Steen, Myra and Ted will decide on the wining entry.

Volunteers will help paint the sign on the wall and the winner will get to sign their name on the wall. Stop by to Check out the wall anytime during the working hours. If you have questions for Jody, stop by the store on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
