LAG Fall Show

There were 25 entries in the show and competition was strong.  It’s a wonderful display and we hope that most of you will see it and vote for your favorite before the show comes down on December 13th.  The ballots will be counted on that day and PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD will be given to the winner.  The outcome will be in the January newsletter.

The judge, Bruce Forbes, from Union College was very thorough and did an informative critique on every entry.  The critiques were on the wall behind each painting – be sure to take your critique and ribbon when you pick up your artwork.

Remember, you may leave your entries as long as you have paid the $25 gallery fee, and if it does not say NFS on the card.

Winners:

BEST OF SHOW:  Donna Schimonitz

JAMES RAY AWARD:  Donna Schimonitz

3 MERIT AWARDS:  Reida Wrenholt (2) and Frosty Chapman (1)

2 HONORABLE MENTIONS:  Janet Fraley (2) and Jane Chesnut (1)

Many thanks to our members who entered the show!
