Mark your calendars for January 21 and plan to meet at the Imperial Palace Restaurant on 27th and Vine Street for our annual Chinese New Year Party.  Cost is $12 per person. You can mail your money to Wanda Medina (7563 Diamond Cr. Lincoln, NE 68506) or bring it with you that night.  Spouses are invited too, so don’t leave them home to miss out on the fun.  What fun you ask?  Well……. we encourage everyone to bring a self portrait (no name on the front please) to be voted on as to:  1. most realistic  2. most comical   3. most interesting use of media   4. most abstract   5. most identifiable to the artist and 6. most extreme rendering.  We will also try to match the portraits to their artist creators.  The evening will include a gift exchange ($15 limit) of something along the artistic line.  Please RSVP to Carmen Stineman – 402 476 1177 – cmstine@hotmail.com if you are planning to attend or add your name to the sign-up sheet at the October or November meeting.
