LAG member, paper artist Linda Stephen will publish her debut children’s picture book in February: The Day We Went to the Park. 

Friday Feb. 7, 5:30-7:30 p.m.: Book launch, art reception and book signing for The Day We Went to the Park, Francie & Finch Bookshop, 130 S. 13th St. in Lincoln. The event will be held during the First Friday Art Walk. The bookshop is 1/2 block south of 13th & O streets. Linda Stephen is the illustrator and co-author.

Feb. 1-29: Art exhibit “Holmes Lake Park in Origami,” Francie & Finch Bookshop, 130 S. 13th St. in Lincoln. See Linda Stephen’s original art for the picture book and another 15 framed paper artworks. “Holmes Lake in Origami” is made from layered papers and 1,000+ paper sculptures and took six months to create.
