Margaret Berry | Member Meeting Activity: Encaustic | Margaret Berry is a mixed media artist specializing in encaustic. She teaches individuals and small groups in her home studio in Lincoln but has been a Nebraska Arts Council artist-in-residence for 12 years and a national workshop leader. She was a founding member and national exhibition chair of the International Encaustic Artists. She will demonstrate how she uses wax in paintings as well as with photographs and collages. Participants will be able to experience both encaustic collage and painting and take home a small work. Cost is $5 for materials. | |
