Our Featured Artist for the 4^th Friday Art and Music Series at Out of the Box from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on June 26^th is Donna Pozehl. Donna is a member of the Lincoln Artists’ Guild and served as the 2^nd Vice President in 2010 and on the Finance Committee in 2012.  In 2013 and 2014 she served on the Gallery Committee and was the President of the Guild.  This year she is still on the Gallery Committee and on the Advisory Board.

She says, “In my work I hope to give visual pleasure and the feeling of being calm and peaceful.”

Her artistic journey began with a few College Art Courses at the Columbus Community College and private lessons.   After her move to Lincoln, she joined the Lincoln Artists’ Guild in 2008 where her learning journey continued at each meeting, taking more classes and attending workshops.

Guild member and former 2015 Featured Artist, Everet Claesson is one of the members of a string band that will perform on our 4^th Friday in June. This band will play old time and folk music from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
