The Jewelry sale went so well that we wanted to try having something similar (specialty table) each 4thFriday. This will only be small items that you make. No small paintings at this time. Everything has to look very Professional and be approved by Jody or Myra. If they accept your work we can then schedule a month that is open and not already scheduled. Do not expect to be able to bring it in the month you have it approved. Every time you bring your small item work to the gallery, they must be listed on an inventory sheet. If several members have the same type of work, they may show together. We had three jewelry people showing last Friday.
Just to be clear for right now, OUT OF THE BOX does not want small items in the store except for on the Forth Friday reception night, (specialty table). The items are there for only that night unless told otherwise by Jody and Myra.
The month that you are scheduled to sell your items need to be brought in that night at 4:30 or earlier to set up your display and help set up for the evening. All items must be then taken home that night at 9:00 pm. If you cannot stay for the whole reception, please do not bring anything.
It was decided that the Oct. 23rd we will have Christmas cards and note cards. Start making your cards. They will have to be in single card bags or tied with a ribbon. They can be displayed by laying on the table or in a professional box to hold them. The professional bags can be purchased at Hobby Lobby. No food baggies will be allowed. Check the sizes of the bags that you can purchase and then make your cards according to that size. Depending on who all brings cards we will have to take turns at working at the table of cards during the reception.
Schedule for Specialty Fourth Friday Table Set up 4:30 and stay till 9pm then take home
November 20th -3rd Friday will be Christmas ornaments and Jewelry.
