June LAG Program

June program follows right after the ANAC Convention in Columbus, so first order of business at the meeeting will be a show and tell from convention participants on what they learned at workshops, where the next convention will be and also which works of art were selected as the best in the state of Nebraska. After that, members will be creating their own linoleum cuts, starting with a demonstration, short cuts, and how to print.  June’s meeting will be how to transfer your line drawing and then finish the evening with participants starting on their cuts, which then can be completed at home.  July will have members bringing back their completed blocks and printing them.  Materials members need to bring, are linoleum  (lino)cutters with blades, a 4×6 Speedy Cut Speedball block or similar.   Carmen will bring some blocks ($2 each) if you don’t have one.  If anyone has extra cutters, it would be most appreciated if some people could borrow.  You will need a drawing to transfer to your block.  This is to be a line drawing, not too detailed.
